Maternal and Child Health Epidemiologist
Peak Performers is dedicated to improving maternal and child health through data-driven initiatives. The Maternal and Child Health Epidemiologist will analyze health data, support programs aimed at reducing maternal and infant mortality, and collaborate with various stakeholders to enhance outcomes for families across Oklahoma.

Responsibilities
Analyze quantitative and qualitative maternal and perinatal health data to inform MCH programs
Extract and report family-planning and perinatal data from the Public Health Oklahoma Client Information System (PHOCIS) on a quarterly, semi-annual, and annual basis
Provide analytic support and serve as the primary data contact for the Maternal Health Innovation (MHI) and Enhancing Reviews and Surveillance to Eliminate Maternal Mortality (ERASE) grants
Design analysis plans, statistical specifications, and data visualizations
Prepare technical reports, presentations, scientific articles, and grant materials for internal and external audiences
Collaborate with program staff, healthcare partners, and policymakers to translate findings into actionable insights
Provide epidemiological support for Maternal Mortality Review (MMR), Fetal and Infant Mortality Review (FIMR), sudden infant death studies (SIDS), and other Perinatal and Reproductive Health (PRH) initiatives
Support the 'Preparing for a Lifetime, It’s Everyone’s Responsibility' infant mortality reduction initiative by providing analytic expertise
Contribute to the Title V MCH Block Grant and five-year needs assessment
Qualification
Required
Master's in Epidemiology, Biostatistics, or Statistics
At least 1 year of applied epidemiology experience
Demonstrated experience working with large and complex datasets
Proficiency in SAS
Strong grasp of epidemiologic methods, survey design, and statistical techniques
Clear written and verbal communication for technical and non-technical audiences
Must reside in Oklahoma
Preferred
Experience in maternal & child health programs or working with state registry/health services data
