They are seeking an Implementation Consultant who will be responsible for managing client relationships, gathering requirements, and ensuring successful implementation of their platform across various projects in the financial services industry.

Responsibilities

Gathering requirements: Understanding the client's needs and requirements to ensure the solution being implemented meets those needs

Technical design, build and testing: Working closely with the Xceptor leads to design, configure, and build the solution

Release management: Providing demos to clients and delivering and supporting release packages

Troubleshooting: Resolving technical issues and answering questions that arise during the implementation process

Communicating with stakeholders: Communicating regularly with stakeholders, including clients, project managers, and technical teams, to provide updates on the project's progress and address any concerns

Delivery framework and methodology: Learn, adopt, and contribute to Xceptor’s project delivery framework, recognizing common solution patterns and applying best practices for implementation. Work with cross-functional teams to evolve and align our methodologies to changes to our product and core technologies

Required

University degree (or equivalent): Any BSc degree, Computer Science, Chemistry, Physics, Economics or Engineering

Programming language experience with a preference for Object Orientated languages such as C#, C++, Java, Python

Relational Database experience such as SQL or Oracle

Strong XML skills

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Able to create and maintain strong and varied working relationships

Customer service approach and mindset and comfortable working directly with customers in a consultative capacity

Excellent organizational and time management skills: able to effectively multi-task and manage conflicting priorities, coupled with good attention to detail

Self-motivated and able to work on own initiative, as well as part of a team and in collaboration

Logical and analytical thinker with problem-solving skills and mindset

Takes pride and accountability in their work
