Assistant Teaching Professor, Honors College

Qualification
Required
Terminal degree by the time of appointment
Experience teaching small, discussion-based seminars for undergraduates
Preferred
Demonstrated ability to teach introductory courses
Ability to teach courses in Cultural Traditions and in Global Perspectives
Experience teaching in an honors program
Evidence of innovative pedagogy, such as interdisciplinary courses, service learning or community engagement
Student advising, mentoring, and program development experience
Experience supporting the success of students from a variety of backgrounds
