Mission Technologies, a division of HII, is seeking an experienced Technician to join their team. The Technician will manufacture and test various levels of electro-mechanical assemblies for autonomous vehicles and auxiliary equipment, ensuring alignment with drawing specifications.
Responsibilities
Perform integration, assembly, and test of new systems vehicles and auxiliary equipment from work instructions and assembly drawings
Perform testing and troubleshooting with engineering and software development in order to identify and correct system level problems with vehicles and auxiliary equipment
Must be able to read and understand diagnostic data
Must be able to read and understand Technical schematics
Must be able to setup and use test equipment including oscilloscopes, signal generators, and other input/output electronic test equipment
Must be familiar with general computer operation
Must be able to perform basic soldering
Performs diversified duties to troubleshoot PWBA's, Assemblies and Modules
Troubleshoot complex Analog and Digital circuits to the component level
Make recommendations to improve current procedures and assist Manufacturing Engineering in implementing new procedures
Work within limits of prescribed procedures to produce a sufficient quantity of working PWBA's, Assemblies or Modules to support the Master Production Schedule
Discuss technical problems encountered while troubleshooting or testing with Engineering
Qualification
Required
Associates Degree or other 2 year technical degree in related discipline and 3 years of related experience; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 5 years related experience
Must be able to obtain and maintain a secret clearance

Preferred
J-STD soldering certification, or ability to obtain
IPC 610 certification for the Acceptability of Electronic assemblies, or ability to obtain
IPC 620 certification for Requirements and Acceptance for Cable and Wire Harness Assemblies, or ability to obtain
