Responsibilities

The LPN recognizes patient's needs and symptoms in advance and provides care for the patient under the physician's direction

This includes preparing patient for exams, assisting during treatments, coordinating tests and follow-up care, and recording treatment in medical record

The LPN assists with patient and family education and demonstrates competency and skills to serve patients of all ages

Qualification

Licensed Practical NurseBLS CertificationHealthcare ExperienceAmbulatory Care ExperiencePatient Education

Required

High School Diploma General or GED General

Graduate from a practical or vocational nursing program

Current/active license as a Licensed Practical Nurse in the State of Georgia is Required

Must have a current BLS card from the American Heart Association prior to hire date

Preferred

Previous healthcare experience is Preferred

Experience in ambulatory, outpatient setting is a preference for success
