Senior Account Manager – Personal & Commercial Lines
Graytitude is seeking a Senior Account Manager who will drive business growth through new client acquisition and maintaining relationships with existing clients. This role involves sales expertise, client relationship management, and operational oversight, focusing on delivering tailored insurance solutions for personal and commercial lines.

Responsibilities
Identify, research, and pursue new business opportunities to expand the company’s client base and increase revenue
Meet or exceed sales targets for both personal and commercial insurance products
Develop and execute targeted sales campaigns to attract prospective clients
Create and implement retention strategies to maintain long-term client relationships
Ensure ongoing satisfaction by providing proactive communication, policy reviews, and timely resolution of issues
Build strong relationships with individual and business clients through trust, responsiveness, and personalized service
Conduct thorough needs assessments to identify appropriate insurance products and coverage levels
Manage policy renewals, endorsements, cancellations, and claims support
Provide guidance on policy options, coverage enhancements, and compliance requirements
Oversee billing processes, ensuring accuracy and timely invoicing
Assist clients with claims filing and follow-up to ensure efficient resolution
Prepare and present detailed sales reports, performance metrics, and forecasts to senior management
Work closely with internal teams, including underwriting, claims, and customer service, to ensure seamless client experiences
Train, mentor, and oversee less experienced staff, ensuring compliance with company policies, procedures, and best practices
Foster a collaborative work environment that supports professional growth and exceptional client service
Qualification
Required
Proven experience in personal and commercial insurance sales, account management, or related role
Strong understanding of insurance products, policy structures, and industry regulations
Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed sales targets
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
Proficiency in insurance management systems and Microsoft Office Suite
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
Leadership skills with experience in staff training and development
Minimum 3 years of experience in commercial lines insurance
Active Massachusetts Property & Casualty license (or ability to obtain)
Strong understanding of commercial insurance products, including General Liability, Property, Workers' Compensation, and Commercial Auto
Proficiency with agency management systems and carrier portals
Excellent communication, customer service, and relationship-building skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
