Responsibilities
Take a leading role in traffic studies, traffic analysis, traffic signal, signing, and marking designs, plans, specifications and estimates for traffic improvements, and other traffic engineering work tasks
Help build our growing team of traffic engineering professionals across the northeast
Partner with our sales team to expand our portfolio of projects with northeast public agency transportation clients
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, or related field
Professional Engineering (PE) License, or ability to obtain one
Experience leading the development of traffic studies, traffic signal design, plans, specifications and estimates for traffic engineering improvements for public agency clients
Knowledge of Federal standards and requirements
Strong technical writing and oral communication skills
Valid driver's license and ability to travel for site visits
Must be resourceful, curious, and self-directed
Preferred
Professional Traffic Operations Engineer (PTOE) Certification
Project management and leadership experience
Knowledge and experience using various software including Synchro and VISSIM
