The role involves supporting the design and installation of capital equipment and systems, leading projects to enhance manufacturing operations, and providing engineering support throughout all project phases.

Responsibilities
Supporting the design and installation of capital equipment and systems in our ceilings manufacturing locations
Leading projects that involve problem investigation, requirements gathering and solutions development, scope documentation, and equipment specification
Providing engineering support throughout all project phases and equipment installations related to improving manufacturing operations
Replacing and enhancing production capabilities via adding and modifying equipment
Leading all activities related to troubleshooting and solving a production problem
Ensuring all mechanical assets are in a precision state through establishing equipment SOPs and maintenance practices
Estimating and executing new product and cost improvement projects
Modifying equipment and processes and automate manual tasks to improve capacity and reduce costs
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering (BSME) with a minimum 2.8 GPA
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
Previous AutoCAD experience
A track record of leadership through work, school, or extra-curricular activities
Outstanding interpersonal skills and a team-oriented mindset
Capability to build and nurture professional relationships
Proficiency in Microsoft Office products, particularly Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Preferred
Energetic, team-oriented, technically savvy, and highly motivated
An Engineering-related internship, Co-Op, or research role OR related experience within an industrial environment and/or manufacturing facility
