Orbis Education partners with colleges and universities to enhance their pre-licensure healthcare programs. The Academic Success Coach plays a vital role in supporting and guiding students in an accelerated nursing program, focusing on academic advising and retention efforts.

Responsibilities

Facilitation and support of student progression

Provide on-site success coaching and coordination of appropriate student services

Manage student registration process for each semester (3 per year)

Provides proactive and developmental coaching/advising for all active students

Actively initiates and continues ongoing guidance to students whose grades, attendance, and/or personal barriers put them academically at risk

Communicates concerns about student progress to the student, faculty members, and administration in conjunction with coaching efforts and strategy

Consistently stays engaged with students in order to promote success by using forums such as: one on one meetings, phone calls, face-to-face video chat, and success seminars

Ensures timely coordination of registration of selected courses

Acts as a liaison for student(s) in matters related to academic appeals, readmission requests, grievances, etc. affecting a student’s progress through the program

Appropriately documents communication with students and maintains all required student population reports

Required

Bachelor's degree required
