Instrumentation & Controls/SCADA Project Manager

Responsibilities

Provide project management services for Instrumentation and Control (I&C) / Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) system implementation projects in the drinking water and wastewater industry
Manage regional I&C / SCADA projects across the Northwest, including master planning, design, and SCADA software programming
Prepare scope and project fee for contracting, work with staff managers for assignment of project resources, approve material and subcontractor invoices for payment, prepare monthly client invoices, track change, and manage the delivery to meet the scope, schedule, and budget requirements
Manage staff in multiple Jacobs’ office and/or project locations

Required

8 years of direct project management experience delivering instrumentation and control system implementation projects with values over $50,000
Experience with typical project management tools including schedules, risk registers, and logs for change management
Basic understanding of Process and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs)
Experience with Allen-Bradley ControlLogix & CompactLogix Programmable Logic Controllers
Experience with Rockwell FactoryTalk, Wonderware System Platform, and/or Wonderware Intouch HMI systems
Experience with implementation of control system Ethernet networks, including fiber optic and CAT-6 cabling systems
Experience with Operational Technology (OT) systems, including virtual servers and ring networks
Experience with instrument calibration and commissioning
Experience with control panel design and fabrication
Experience with design-build project implementation
Experience working in the drinking water and/or wastewater industries
Experience working for a control system integrator
Experience managing team members in multiple remote locations

Preferred

PMI Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
Active professional engineering (PE) license or ability to obtain
Bachelor's Degree in Environmental, Electrical, Chemical or Mechanical Engineering
5-15 years of instrumentation and control design or software delivery experience
