The role focuses on providing system optimization and technical advisement services for critical access and safety systems, ensuring the OnGuard security system operates at peak performance.

Responsibilities
Subject matter expert for OnGuard related projects
Hosting technical advisement calls and ownership of call agenda
Troubleshooting OnGuard security system issues
Provide software and database expertise to customers and VAR project resources
Provide reporting on system support progress and set action items
System design and planning
Develop and implement system maintenance strategies
Evaluation, optimization, and development of access control business processes
Maintaining and strengthening cross-functional relationships with key internal customers including Technical Support, Engineering, Sales, and Product Management on behalf of the End User
Qualification
Required
5 or more years experience in security industry and customer service experience
Strong background in providing technical solutions; ability to manage issues to a successful resolution and provide project subject matter expertise
Familiarity with OnGuard access control security software
2-year college degree or technical certification
Able to meet travel requirements - Up to 1 week per quarter
Preferred
Technical project management experience
Strong technical and customer service skills
A self-driven individual
Ability to develop strong, long-term customer relationships
Excellent presentations skills with ability to communicate with all organizational levels
Ability to adapt quickly to new technologies
Proficiency in Microsoft SQL database administration
Windows Server knowledge or certifications
VMWare / Server Virtualization
Cloud based server and SQL infrastructure (Azure and AWS)
Network planning and design knowledge or certifications
SQL / Oracle knowledge or certifications
Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as the sciences, technology, engineering or mathematics
