ARTSI Partnership and MEAL Manager

Conservation International is dedicated to protecting nature for the benefit of humanity and is seeking an ARTSI Partnership and MEAL Manager to support a significant fundraising campaign and partnership development for the ARTSI Initiative. This role will involve overseeing monitoring and evaluation, managing logistics for convenings, and developing strategies to engage donors, all aimed at transforming economic systems to support nature conservation.

Responsibilities

Lead planning and design, while overseeing procurement and logistical arrangements, for convenings, dialogues, and core working group meetings to co-design and capitalize the grants mechanism, as well as meetings/workshops for stakeholder engagement, learning, and knowledge sharing
Responsible for overseeing all elements of M&E, working to synthesize information from the pilots and ensuring learning is integrated in the co-design process
Monitoring and reporting of project interventions and reporting to the CI-GEF Agency – including quarterly technical and financial reports and project implementation reports throughout the two-year project implementation period
Monitoring and reporting of project interventions and reporting requirements from specific donors, CI internal CI co-finance and delivery tracking, and other monitoring needs
Contracting and project management for safeguards expertise to support application of safeguards plans and strategies as well as their refinement
Developing, monitoring, and reporting implementation progress of environmental and social safeguards for the grant mechanism development in coordination with contracted safeguards experts and for pilot delivery in coordination with pilot leads
Assist grantees/consultants with routine financial, compliance, and system reporting questions. Provide training and support as needed
Develop and implement knowledge management plan
Lead activities related to the community of practice including identifying stakeholders and creating information-sharing opportunities
Identify and track opportunities and support the team to disseminate project information and learning at in-country and global events

Required

Bachelor's degree in public policy, international affairs, economics or a related field
4 to 6 years of related policy or fundraising work experience, preferably in the conservation, non-governmental sector, or advocacy arena
Working knowledge of conservation-related issues, subsidy/incentives issues and/or the global policy engagement environment, including public and private funding processes
Proven ability to plan events that convene a variety of internal and external partners towards specific outcomes
Demonstrated experience in project planning, monitoring, evaluation and reporting
Ability to effectively communicate technical information to a diverse audience and in adherence to reporting requirements
Strong organization, project management, and time management skills, and ability to adapt in a fast-paced, changing environment
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
Proven ability to work in a culturally diverse environment and across time zones
Fluency in written and spoken English

Preferred

Experience with M&E requirements under the GEF or other multilateral funds
Experience working with project planning and reporting platforms and tools (i.e., Monday.com, Activity Info)
Working proficiency in Spanish or French
Master's degree in public policy, international affairs, economics or related fields
