New Grad, Entry LevelModine Manufacturing Company is dedicated to engineering a cleaner, healthier world and is seeking an End-of-Line Airedale Chiller Test Technician to ensure the quality and performance of chillers before shipment. The technician will conduct comprehensive testing, troubleshoot issues, and collaborate with engineering and production teams to maintain compliance with industry standards.

Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive end-of-line testing on Airedale chillers, including pressure, temperature, electrical, and refrigerant system checks
Verify operational performance against engineering specifications and industry regulations
Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and refrigeration system issues, performing necessary repairs or adjustments
Ensure all chillers meet quality and safety standards before shipment
Accurately document test results, findings, and corrective actions taken
Collaborate with engineering and production teams to identify recurring issues and implement improvements
Use testing instruments such as pressure gauges, multimeters, thermometers, and refrigerant analyzers
Follow all health, safety, and environmental procedures in accordance with company policies and regulatory requirements
Maintain and calibrate testing equipment as needed
Qualification
Required
Technical Education: Diploma or degree in HVAC, Refrigeration, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering (or relevant experience)
Experience: Previous experience in chiller testing, HVAC systems, or refrigeration preferred
Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of refrigeration cycles, electrical circuits, and mechanical components
Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to troubleshoot and resolve mechanical and electrical faults effectively
Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy and quality control
Physical Requirements: Ability to lift moderate weights, stand for extended periods, and work in a manufacturing environment
Preferred
Certifications (Preferred): EPA Refrigerant Handling Certification, Electrical Safety Training, or equivalent
