Responsibilities

Own end-to-end product development for core Shepherd workflows, from discovery and problem framing through design, delivery, and real-world adoption

Shape Shepherd’s AI-powered experiences , including features that leverage generative AI and intelligent automation, ensuring they are intuitive, trustworthy, and supportive of human judgment

Partner closely with Design, Engineering, and Data/ML to translate user needs, emerging capabilities, and system insights into high-quality product experiences

Engage with veterinary users and internal stakeholders to gather feedback, validate solutions, and continuously improve how the product supports clinical and operational work

Operate with autonomy and accountability , making thoughtful tradeoffs, setting direction, and owning outcomes in a fast-moving, mission-driven environment

Required

Experience as a product manager building and shipping SaaS products end-to-end; experience with AI-powered or data-driven products is a strong plus

Clear written and verbal communication skills, and comfort collaborating across disciplines

Senior-level ownership mindset; leveling is based on experience, impact, and domain expertise rather than years alone
