Vice President, Global Sales (Sensor Solutions)

The Vice President of Global Sales will be responsible for transformational sales leadership, managing revenue growth, and overseeing a 200-member international sales organization within the Sensor Solutions business.

Responsibilities
Provides strategic and operational direction to the Sensor Solutions businesses’ global sales operations function to maximize sales revenues and meet corporate objectives
Serves as a member of senior management team in setting strategic direction of the business unit
Expand use of channel distribution and demand creation. Today 10% of the business is distribution with a goal of 20-30%
Assists in sales activities on major accounts and negotiates sales prices/discounts with sales directors
Develop & implement robust sales management processes – pipeline, account planning, and proposals
Create a standardized outreach for current and future clients and coordinate its implementation across sales channels, client management, and participate in defining marketing and communications
Manage sales team activities to ensure consistent quota planning, maximizing and maintaining a strong pipeline
Drive best-in-class customer care which maximizes customer satisfaction and customer retention
Leverage customer research (quantity and quality) to provide strategic leadership for brand architecture and positioning
Collaborate with other functional leaders, providing constructive feedback on customer needs to ensure competitiveness and provide a clear vision for success
Build and upgrade the sales teams and create an inspirational, driven, and operational sales culture to fill management gaps by hiring and training individuals and teams
Demonstrate a leadership style that is competitive, upbeat, and drives others to reach goals
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree desirable
Proven success as a sales leader of a business with responsibility for delivering around $500M+ in revenue and managing a significant global sales force
Brings a global and multi-cultural experience
Demonstrated capability to establish consistent global sale process
A solutions selling mentality versus component selling. The business is now developing and selling 'Smart Solutions' for AI, IOT, machine learning and edge computing
Preferred
Ideally experience selling into Automotive, Medical, Industrial, Robotics, and Military
