Non-Destructive Testing Engineer, Electrical Services Team
Amazon Web Services (AWS) is the world’s most comprehensive and broadly adopted cloud platform, and they are seeking a Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) Technician to support projects involving critical infrastructure. The role involves applying non-destructive testing techniques, ensuring safety compliance, and collaborating with various teams to maintain and troubleshoot data center systems.

Responsibilities
Apply non-destructive testing techniques to install, maintain, and troubleshoot all data center critical systems including power distribution, mechanical, plumbing, building automation, structural, and all other equipment that supports the critical operation
Act as an ambassador for safety within the team and to promote safe working across the site
Remain cognizant of and act in compliance with all security protocols
Interact with engineers, technicians, project managers and management on a daily basis
Develop and maintain a good working relationship across all levels in the organization
Ensure consistency in deployed configurations and track exceptions for follow up
Execute predictive and preventive maintenance programs
Document all inspection discrepancies and defects in detailed reports
Ability to interpret inspection data and create qualitative and quantitative analysis
Provide support for planned and unplanned outages
Provide cross functional support for ATS and Battery teams
Qualification
Required
Knowledge of key electrical competencies and theory
1+ year of experience in data center or mission-critical facility operations (e.g., hospitals, military installations, public safety facilities, manufacturing); OR Bachelor's degree in a relevant STEM field (e.g., Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Nuclear Engineering, Physics); OR trade school training/certification
Preferred
Proficiency in identifying safety concerns and maintaining a secure work environment in compliance with NFPA 70E guidelines
Basic scripting experience (Python)
