Texas A&M University is inviting applications for three full-time, tenure-track or tenure review positions in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching, advising, mentoring students, and developing an independent research program in various areas of computing.

Qualification

Doctorate in Computer ScienceResearch Program DevelopmentTeaching ExperienceCommunication SkillsMentoring Skills

Required

Earned a doctorate in computer science, computer engineering, or a closely related field
Candidates who have completed all Ph.D. requirements except the dissertation will be considered, provided they demonstrate clear progress towards completion
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Required to teach, advise, and mentor graduate and undergraduate students
Develop and maintain an independent, externally funded research program
Participate in all aspects of the department's activities
Serve the profession

Preferred

Strong candidates in multi-disciplinary or emerging areas of computing are encouraged to apply
