Regional Sales Director - Southwest Region

IES Communications is a national provider of industrial products and infrastructure services. The Regional Sales Director will manage and direct the sales team to achieve sales and profit goals while developing sales strategies and overseeing budgets for the region.

Responsibilities

Collaborating with senior executives to establish and execute a sales goal for the region
Managing a sales team to achieve maximum sales revenue and meet or exceed corporate-set goals
Forecasting annual, quarterly and monthly sales goals
Implementing appropriate new sales techniques to increase the region's sales volume
Mentoring and teaching Sales Account Managers
Developing specific plans to ensure short and long term growth
Educating sales team with presentations of strategies, seminars and regular meetings
Reviewing regional expenses and recommending improvements
Other responsibilities as assigned

Required

Must possess at least a High School diploma or GED equivalency
Must have experience in customer interface, such as liaison between the customer and the Company
Must possess a minimum of seven (7) years of sales experience
Must be familiar with and able to effectively utilize a sales management software package
Must have a minimum of six (6) years supervisory or managerial experience
Must be proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and MS Project)
Must meet Company minimum driving standards
Must be able to manage multiple tasks/projects simultaneously
Must have demonstrated verifiable ability to define a project, create a project scope of work, develop detailed associated tasks and manage these to final completion and customer turnover
Must be self-motivated, positive in approach, professional and lead others to create, develop and implement project process improvement(s)
Must have superior communications skills and be highly organized
Must promote the Company culture and mission to all employees, vendors, clients and business partners
Must have proven problem solving skills, critical thinking skills and the ability to effectively read, write and give oral presentation(s)
Must able to travel within branch territory and/or regional territory as needed
Must be able to secure and maintain a Company sponsored American Express Card

Preferred

Bachelor's Degree preferred
Prefer a minimum of five (5) years of sales experience in telecommunications or a related technical or construction field
