Senior Electrical Field Engineer

Responsibilities
Project Planning and Supervision: Plan, schedule, and oversee field engineering work in your assigned area, ensuring alignment with project objectives and construction programs
Technical Guidance: Provide technical support and guidance to construction teams, interpreting engineering designs, blueprints, and specifications to ensure feasibility and compliance with project requirements
Quality Assurance: Conduct thorough inspections and quality checks of completed construction tasks, verifying adherence to design specifications and industry best practices
Team Leadership: Direct and lead multidisciplinary teams, fostering a collaborative environment and mentoring junior staff to support their professional development
Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate closely with project managers, designers, and stakeholders to ensure effective communication and smooth project execution
Risk Management: Identify potential risks or issues that could impact project timelines or deliverables and recommend appropriate corrective actions
Continuous Improvement: Support initiatives related to the enhancement of construction processes, procedures, and standards within Worley
Qualification
Required
Extensive experience in field engineering roles, including supervisory and project management responsibilities
Strong understanding of construction principles, methodologies, and best practices; proficiency in interpreting engineering designs and technical specifications
Proven ability to lead and manage teams, with a focus on mentoring and developing team members
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of engaging with diverse stakeholders and presenting complex information clearly
Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and develop tactical plans for implementing organizational goals
Ability to work in dynamic environments, managing multiple projects simultaneously and adapting to changing client needs and regulatory landscapes
Advanced understanding of systems, processes, and tools related to field engineering; ability to assist others and troubleshoot issues
Bachelor's degree in a related engineering field
