Associate CNC Programmer

They are seeking a highly motivated Entry-Level CNC Programmer who will be responsible for creating, modifying, and optimizing CNC programs to produce precision parts according to engineering specifications.

Responsibilities

Develop and write CNC programs using Mastercam software for various machining operations (milling, turning, etc.) on multi-axis CNC machines
Interpret engineering drawings and 3D models to determine machining requirements and optimal tool paths
Select appropriate cutting tools, fixtures, and machining parameters for different materials and geometries
Simulate and verify CNC programs to detect and correct potential errors, collisions, or inefficiencies before actual machining
Collaborate with machinists, engineers, and production staff to troubleshoot issues, optimize processes, and improve part quality and production efficiency
Perform basic machine setup and operation for program testing and validation
Document program changes, setup sheets, and operational procedures

Qualification

MastercamG-code programmingM-code programmingGD&T interpretationCollaboration

Required

Certificate in Mastercam
Strong understanding of G-code and M-code programming
Ability to interpret engineering drawings featuring GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing)
Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to [e.g., 30-50] pounds
Ability to work in a manufacturing environment with exposure to noise and machinery
