Controls Technician
Electric Pump, LLC has been providing fluid handling equipment for 45 years, serving various markets. The Controls Technician is responsible for installing, troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining water and wastewater controls, ensuring efficient operation of equipment.

Responsibilities
Perform highly diversified duties to install, repair, and troubleshoot controls of fluid handling products
Understanding of basic PLC knowledge (Allen Bradley)
Provide on call assistance for emergency/unscheduled repairs of Control equipment as needed
Perform simple machinist duties and responsibilities
Perform mechanic skills including, but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic
Read and interpret pump manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service
Able to understand and follow ladder diagrams and wiring schematics
Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test and make adjustments
Use a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters and material handling equipment in performing duties
Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas
Qualification
Required
High school diploma/GED and previous mechanical experience required
Understanding of basic PLC knowledge (Allen Bradley)

Preferred
Post-secondary or trade school education, as well a pump repair experience is preferred not required
Knowledge of PLC's, VFD, motor controls, process instrumentation, and Windows based control software desired
Knowledge of Allen Bradley software
