Responsibilities

Assisting experienced engineers with various design tasks, including circuit design, schematic capture, and PCB layout
Conducting hands-on laboratory work, setting up experiments, using test equipment like oscilloscopes, collecting and analyzing data, and troubleshooting circuits and systems
Supporting prototype testing and validation to ensure designs meet functional and safety requirements
Collaborating with cross-functional teams and participating in technical meetings to understand project planning and implementation
Contributing to the entire product lifecycle from concept to production
Maintaining accurate documentation and assisting with design reviews

Required

Currently enrolled in an accredited Bachelor's or Master's degree program in Electrical Engineering or a related field (e.g., Physics)
Solid understanding of core electrical engineering principles, including circuit theory, analog and digital design fundamentals, and power systems
Hands-on experience working with lab equipment such as oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, function generators, and power supplies
Familiarity with at least one CAD software for creating schematics and layouts (e.g., Altium Designer)

Preferred

Exposure to circuit simulation software like LTspice and technical computing languages such as Python
Experience with prototype assembly techniques, such as soldering or building cable assemblies
Prior experience in EE project and lab work or experience related to optics
