General Motors is seeking innovators to join their Global Manufacturing Electrical & SDV team to shape the future of automotive technology. The role involves developing and testing software for vehicle interfaces and embedded systems, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and supporting internal and external customers.

Responsibilities
Develop and test software for vehicle interfaces and embedded systems used for flash and test
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to clarify requirements and ensure seamless integration with external systems
Support plants, product engineering, IT, and internal teams to deliver solutions for internal and external customers
Track work progress, document development, and share lessons learned
Assist in code development, porting test code, and customizing for new environments
Identify risks and resolve integration gaps across the enterprise
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related field
Experience with Linux operating systems
Hardware knowledge
Proficiency in USB, TCP/IP, and SQL
Strong C++ coding and unit testing experience
Familiarity with JIRA and Confluence (or similar tools)
Ability to write code and actively manage integration issues with an enterprise-wide perspective
Preferred
Collaborative team player who values shared success
Ability to teach, learn, and document technical processes
Passion for developing technologies with long-term impact
Skilled at breaking down complex problems into manageable tasks
Experience with new technology integration and adaptability across roles
Familiarity with QT QML framework
