Responsibilities

Develop and standard advanced analysis processes, templates, and guidelines
Perform technical analysis to verify compliance to demise/re-entry related requirements
Provide design feedback to engineering teams
Participate in relevant design reviews

Required

Bachelor's degree
Formal education in aerospace engineering, mechanical engineering, materials science, physics, or similar
Due to applicable export control laws and regulations, candidates must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (i.e., current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum

Preferred

Experience in hypersonics, orbital/suborbital re-entry, or space vehicle demise physics
Experience with DRAMA, ORSAT, SCARAB, or similar software
Master's degree/PhD in aerospace engineering, mechanical engineering, materials science, physics, or similar
