Senior Re-Entry & Demise Analyst, Systems Engineering

The Senior Re-Entry & Demise Analyst will lead analysis efforts for spacecraft end-of-life atmospheric re-entry, standardizing processes and collaborating with various teams to ensure compliance and safety.

Responsibilities
Develop and standardize processes, templates, and guidelines to assess satellite demisability
Perform technical analysis to verify compliance to demise/re-entry related requirements
Provide design feedback to engineering teams
Collaborate with regulatory and space safety teams
Participate in relevant design and risk reviews
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree
Formal education in aerospace engineering, mechanical engineering, materials science, physics, or similar
Preferred
Experience in hypersonics, orbital/suborbital re-entry, or space vehicle demise physics
Experience with DRAMA, ORSAT, SCARAB, or similar software
Master's degree/PhD in aerospace engineering, mechanical engineering, materials science, physics, or similar
