Responsibilities

Review online civil case dockets and documents to identify, analyze, and record expert witness activity

Conduct legal research using free and fee-based databases to summarize, organize, and assemble facts from pleadings, filings, and other docket materials

Apply your knowledge of civil litigation and legal research platforms such as Westlaw, Bloomberg Law, or LexisNexis

Retrieve key legal documents, including dockets, motions, affidavits, court orders, subpoenas, depositions, and jury verdicts

Set up and monitor current awareness tools and docket alerts to track new developments for our clients

Collaborate with management to ensure deadlines are met and deliverables maintain exceptional quality

Required

A strong interest in legal research, litigation, and data-driven analysis

Excellent attention to detail and the ability to analyze complex information

Comfort managing multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment

Preferred

A bachelor's degree—ideally in legal studies, political science, business law, criminal justice, or a related research-heavy field

Experience using legal research databases (Westlaw, Bloomberg Law, LexisNexis, or similar)

Professional experience working in a law firm, law department, or law industry
