Responsibilities

Derive and document Digital Hardware system requirements working collaboratively with multiple technical disciplines

Define custom multi-layer PCB architectures and perform part selection, schematic design, and aid in layout activities

Perform functional test and verification activities for new hardware and aid in production transition and support

Architect and design HDL solutions for the latest Xilinx FPGAs and SoC devices such as Ultrascale+ and RFSoCs

Design and implement efficient solutions for data acquisition, digital signal processing, command and control, external hardware interfaces, and high-speed communication protocols

Use scripting languages such as Python and Bash to automate and improve workflows

Perform integration and test of hardware and HDL designs at subsystem and system levels

Provide information in support of project planning, execution, and oversight

Required

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field

5+ years related professional experience

PCB design experience including the design of digital and analog circuits including FPGAs, microcontrollers, memories, and high-speed data converters

Familiarity with VHDL and/or Verilog to configure FPGAs and other embedded systems

Applied experience testing and validating analog and digital hardware using oscilloscopes, network analyzers, logic analyzers, spectrum analyzers, etc
