Senior LevelModuSpec is seeking Rig Surveyors – Electrical on a contract basis due to continued growth and contract awards. The role requires a track record with electrical equipment maintenance within drilling equipment and marine systems, along with management experience in a drilling contractor environment.

Responsibilities
Track record with a vessel owner or drilling contractor as part of the core maintenance crew covering electrical equipment including high voltage within drilling equipment, marine systems, hydraulic systems, main machinery, hoisting / lifting, mud processing systems, and other vessel or rig equipment
Track record as a Senior Electrician, Chief Electrician or similar
Track record of maintenance management with a drilling contractor, including Maintenance Superintendent, Electrical Superintendent, Technical Superintendent, Technical Section Leader, Maintenance Supervisor or similar
Conversant with maintenance management systems, including condition-based monitoring
Track record with:
Safety, firefighting and lifesaving equipment and systems
Main power generation and auxiliary engine room equipment
Electrical equipment installed hazardous areas with an up-to-date CompEX certificate or equivalent
Drilling control systems such as Amphion, Cyberbase, RigSense, etc
SCR and VFD systems
Different drilling rig types, including design, generation, manufacturer
Up-to-date High Voltage training certificate
Qualification
Required

All candidates applying must have the right to work in the USA or hold a valid B1 OCS visa
All candidates must have all valid offshore training, OGUK Medical and BOSIET/ FOET
