Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain web-based features and applications for UFP’s ERP system
Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and product owners to translate business requirements into technical solutions
Ensure code quality, scalability, and security through best practices, testing, and code reviews
Take on complex and critical projects that require architectural design work, advanced technical and problem-solving skills, and often cross-functional collaboration
Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues, ensuring minimal downtime and disruptions
Foster a collaborative, knowledge-sharing environment and add documentation where applicable
Contribute to the strategic direction of web development initiatives, including modernization and system improvements
Stay up to date with emerging web technologies and industry trends to drive continuous improvement
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
5+ years of professional web development experience
Strong proficiency in primary programming language (C#)
Strong proficiency with modern web frameworks (e.g., ASP.NET Core/Blazor, React, or similar)
Familiarity with front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript)
Strong understanding of database technologies (SQL/Microsoft SQL Server, Progress ABL)
Experience in Agile/Scrum development processes
Proficiency in version control systems (e.g., Git) and continuous integration tools (e.g., Azure Pipelines)
Solid understanding of responsive design and mobile/tablet-friendly development
Proven ability to deliver high-quality web applications on time
Proficient in the use of the English language in reading, writing and speaking
Ability to successfully interact and communicate with all organizational levels
Ability to learn new software applications and varied technologies quickly
