The role involves working with precision equipment and tools to ensure smooth surfaces and restoration of parts to their original specifications.

Responsibilities
Perform blending, smoothing, and contouring of aerospace components using hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring equipment
Review blueprints, technical drawings, and work orders to determine blending requirements and ensure compliance with customer specifications
Identify and correct defects such as dents, scratches, or gouges on surfaces
Use precision measuring instruments (e.g., calipers, micrometers) to verify tolerances and ensure proper part dimensions
Conduct visual and dimensional inspections of completed work to ensure quality standards are met
Maintain detailed records of work performed, parts used, and inspections conducted
Perform minor assembly and disassembly of engine components according to standard practice manuals and maintenance instructions
