Regional Sales Manager - South Central US - Municipal

Responsibilities

Build lasting partnerships with municipalities, consultants, and contractors
Qualify and prioritize leads, ensuring the best opportunities are pursued
Lead bidding strategies and negotiations to secure high‑value contracts
Review proposals to ensure quality and alignment with customer needs
Maintain a robust sales pipeline using CRM tools
Develop annual territory goals and execute winning strategies
Represent WesTech at industry events and trade shows
Provide technical presentations and support to customers
Monitor and mentor sales reps in your territory
Collaborate with peers and leadership to ensure coverage and success across regions

Required

Bachelor's degree in a technical field
5+ years of technical sales or marketing experience with increasing responsibility
Proven success in growing a sales territory
Strong organizational, communication, and negotiation skills
Ability to travel up to 40% domestically/internationally
Proficiency with CRM, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and AI tools
Candidates for this position may be required to pass pre-employment and periodic screenings, including background checks, drug and alcohol tests, or other necessary assessments

Preferred

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Environmental Sciences
Experience in municipal water/wastewater markets and established industry relationships
