Responsibilities
Review and improve manufacturing processes to support quality, output, and cost-reduction goals
Develop and update process control plans, work instructions, and standard operating procedures
Work with design engineers to make sure new products can be manufactured effectively
Lead root cause investigations and help solve day-to-day production issues
Evaluate new equipment, tools, and technologies to determine whether they make sense for our operations
Support ongoing lean and continuous improvement efforts
Help maintain compliance with ISO requirements and general manufacturing standards
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field
At least 5 years of experience in manufacturing engineering or a comparable role
Experience with CAD software and basic manufacturing simulation tools
Solid understanding of Lean/Six Sigma concepts
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including root cause analysis
Experience working in an ISO-certified facility
Background in both metals manufacturing and plastic injection molding
Able to work independently and take initiative
Practical, positive, “get it done” mindset
Preferred
Lean or Six Sigma certification
Experience with automation or robotics
Background in durable goods manufacturing
Medical device manufacturing experience
Experience leading cross-functional projects
