Responsibilities

Managing and overseeing the System Support Services Branch responsible for integrated logistics support services that manages and sustains technologies in support of the agency mission

Providing oversight and guidance on development and execution of Inter-agency Agreements for support services and planning, programming, budget and accountability of funding resource requirements for the unit

Organizing, presenting, and submitting briefings and findings along with actionable recommendations to senior leadership to ensure alignment with achievement of organizational objectives

Responsible for the oversight and management of property management support services for acquired technology and the conduct of system acceptance inventory

Providing a full range of supervisory functions for a staff that performs a variety of Acquisition Logistics (AL) support services

Specialized Experience: You qualify for the GS-14 grade level if you possess 1 year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade level, performing duties such as: Applying logistic tools to achieve readiness at best cost for systems and equipment, Managing Interagency Reimbursable Work Agreement (IRWA) to include Inter agency agreements with multiple agencies, Supervising and managing multidisciplinary logistics teams, Develops and delivers oral presentations, Managing and overseeing various asset management systems to track property accountability

Background Investigation: U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) is a federal law enforcement agency that requires all applicants to undergo a thorough background investigation prior to employment

Residency: There is a residency requirement for all applicants not currently employed by CBP

Probationary Period: All employees new to the federal government must serve a one year probationary period during the first year of his/her initial permanent federal appointment to determine fitness for continued employment
