Responsibilities
Lead delivery of complex electrical installation projects with multi-site impact ($10M to $50M scope)
Provide technical expertise for electrical systems, power distribution, and controls integration
Design and implement electrical solutions for automation systems and material handling equipment
Follow and help develop electrical standards and best practices compliant with NEC/NFPA
Work cross-functionally with engineering, construction, and operations teams
Participate in technical reviews and drive electrical engineering excellence
Oversee electrical contractors and validate installation quality
Create and review electrical single-line diagrams and construction drawings
Conduct power studies and load calculations for facility automation systems
Support achievement of safety, timeline, cost, and quality metrics
Provide technical input for electrical system design and modifications
Manage relationships with electrical contractors and equipment vendors
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
5+ years of electrical experience
3+ years of industrial controls and automation experience
1+ years of developing electrical schematics using AutoCAD Electrical (2010 or newer) experience, or Bachelor's degree in computer science, electrical engineering, automation engineering, or equivalent
Experience with fire and building codes and standards, including the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA), National Electrical Code (NEC), FM Global standards, International Fire Code (IFC) and the Comprehensive International Building Code (IBC)
Experience as a mentor, tech lead or leading an engineering team, or experience leading and influencing your team or organization
Experience delivering technical projects in industrial construction environments
Ability to travel up to 50% domestically
Preferred
Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
5+ years of industrial or commercial engineering in mission critical facilities including but not limited to: data centers, power generation or oil and gas facilities experience
3+ years of using a computer maintenance management system in planning, scheduling and auditing overall facilities/maintenance activities experience
Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent certification
Experience building and managing teams
Experience working with Material handling equipment (MHE)
Experience with design or construction administration of a variety of electrical distribution systems ranging from low voltage to high voltage
Experience identifying, maintaining, and troubleshooting Motor Controls including motor starters, Variable Frequency Drives, DC drives, and standard electrical components
Experience in Industrial networking and communications
5+ years of demonstrating safety standards experience
