LHH is seeking an Insurance Defense Litigation Paralegal to work alongside accomplished attorneys in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. The role involves supporting complex insurance defense litigation cases through various responsibilities including legal document preparation, case management, and legal research.

Responsibilities

Assist attorneys in all phases of insurance defense litigation, from case inception through trial

Draft, review, and prepare legal documents, pleadings, motions, discovery responses, and trial exhibits

Conduct legal research on case law, statutes, and regulations relevant to insurance defense matters

Manage and organize case files, medical records, expert reports, and deposition summaries

Coordinate and track court deadlines, depositions, hearings, and trial schedules

Assist in fact investigation, witness interviews, and document review to support case development

Prepare for trials, mediations, and depositions, including organizing trial binders and exhibits

Review and summarize medical records, accident reports, and insurance policies

Work closely with clients, insurance adjusters, opposing counsel, and expert witnesses

Manage electronic discovery (e-discovery) and document production using legal case management software
