Responsibilities

Configure, maintain, and support UltraTax CS for individual, corporate, partnership, and other entity returns
Optimize and support workflows across UltraTax CS, Practice CS, and FileCabinet CS, ensuring smooth integration between the applications
Troubleshoot user issues (performance, e-filing, forms, roll-forward, data paths, permissions, updates) and drive timely resolution
Assist with year-end / tax-season readiness: updates, proforma/rollover, organizer setup, e-file setup, and validation
Support Practice CS for time & billing, staff scheduling, client management, and reporting
Support FileCabinet CS for document management, security, indexing, backup/restore, and retention processes
Work with internal IT and firm leadership to improve tax workflow, templates, and best practices
Document configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps; provide knowledge transfer and light training to firm staff

Required

3+ years working in or with a public accounting / tax firm using the Thomson Reuters CS Professional Suite
Strong, hands-on expertise with UltraTax CS (primary requirement)
Solid working knowledge of Practice CS (time & billing / practice management) and FileCabinet CS (DMS)
Experience handling UltraTax installation/configuration and updates
Experience handling Proforma/rollover of client data across tax years
Experience handling E-file setup, acknowledgements, and error resolution
Strong experience in Aiwyn integration with Thomson Reuters Software
User/security setup and permissions
Comfort working directly with partners, managers, and staff to gather issues and requirements and propose solutions
Ability to work independently, prioritize, and handle multiple support requests during busy periods
Excellent communication skills and ability to explain technical items in business-friendly terms
Must be able to work U.S. East Coast hours

Preferred

Prior experience leading or assisting with migration or upgrade projects within the CS Suite
Familiarity with other Thomson Reuters tax or research tools
Basic understanding of networks, Windows Server, and SQL for troubleshooting environment issues
