Simon Group Holdings is looking for a Field Technician for Plum Gas Solutions, who will provide operational and technical support for natural gas processing equipment. The technician will collaborate with customers, perform mechanical repairs, and troubleshoot operational issues to ensure the continuous operation of the company’s field equipment.

Responsibilities

Provide technical service and customer support in the field, including mobilization/demobilization and operation and maintenance of natural gas pressure regulation systems, conditioning equipment, compressors, CNG trailers and other gas equipment as needed

Perform monthly, quarterly and annual preventative maintenance on natural gas pressure regulation systems according to defined procedures

Monitor operating equipment using Scada telemetry systems

Collaborate with the technical support team to diagnose and resolve complex issues

Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance to identify potential issues

Collaborate with customers to understand their needs and respond to their inquiries

Assist in remote monitoring and troubleshooting

Maintain spare parts and equipment inventory

Keep detailed time sheets and work orders to ensure accurate billing to customers

Document service and maintenance activities, including service reports, parts usage, and equipment records

Demonstrate the ability and willingness to travel as necessary

Complete all mandatory safety training and adhere to the Company’s Health & Safety Program

Provide technical training and guidance to clients on equipment operation and maintenance
