Responsibilities
Read work orders, formulas, and processing charts to determine specifications and sequence of operations
Weigh and measure specified ingredients and binding agents
Mix and grind materials
Load and unload parts, monitor operations, and adjust controls of various processing machines and equipment to prepare, combine, or alter materials to achieve specific component properties
Clean materials as required before processing operations
Inspect, measure, and test components to ensure they meet specifications
Enclose components in housings and stamp or etch identifying information on finished components
Count, sort, and weigh processed items
Maintain accurate manual or computerized records of production and inspection data
Adhere to all safety procedures, including lock-out/tag-out, reporting safety concerns, using appropriate PPE, and following all safety practices
Ensure all products meet quality assurance standards
Qualification
Required
Active Military personnel on their last 180 days before separation
High School Diploma or equivalent
Proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking English, with the ability to interpret and follow written procedures (e.g., AWI), complete documentation, and follow verbal instructions
Must pass physical, background, and drug screenings
This role requires access to U.S. export-controlled information. Therefore, employment will be contingent upon the ability to prove that you meet the status of a U.S. Person as one of the following: U.S. lawful permanent resident, U.S. Citizen, have been granted asylee or refugee status (i.e., a protected individual under the Immigration and Naturalization Act, 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3))
Preferred
At least 1 year of experience and/or training in a related manufacturing or production environment
Demonstrated ability to be self-directed and identify process improvements
Strong teamwork skills and willingness to collaborate effectively with others
