Business Development Representative
Haus is an incrementality platform that helps brands optimize their ad spend through causal inference-based econometric models. As the first Business Development Representative, you will build the outbound prospecting motion, impacting revenue growth and scaling the sales engine of the company.

Responsibilities
Build and own our outbound prospecting motion through email, LinkedIn, phone calls, and other channels, from researching accounts to crafting messaging to booking qualified meetings
Execute structured, repeatable outbound workflows to achieve activity benchmarks and pipeline-building targets every day and week
Conduct thoughtful discovery to understand prospect pain points and identify strong fit for Haus
Partner closely with Sales, Marketing, and Leadership to refine ICPs, persona insights, and outreach strategies that generate revenue
Experiment with new channels, cadences, and messaging, sharing what you learn so we can scale what works
Maintain clean, accurate CRM data and create repeatable processes as we expand the team
Consistently meet or exceed activity and pipeline targets while keeping quality high
Serve as the “voice of the field,” bringing back insights that influence product direction and GTM strategy
Qualification
Required
1-2 years of demonstrated excellence in a fast-moving, customer facing Business Development Representative or Sales Development Representative role where you've honed outbounding skills and strategies
Interest and intellectual curiosity around AdTech, media, analytics, measurement, experimentation, marketing, and science
Strong written and verbal communication skills. You'll need to be confident, clear, and comfortable personalizing outreach
High level of ownership: you enjoy building, iterating, and creating structure where none exists yet
Resilient, motivated, and energized by ambitious goals and fast feedback loops
Familiarity with CRM and sales engagement tools (HubSpot, Salesforce, Outreach, Apollo, etc.)
Comfortable balancing scrappy experimentation with data-driven decision making
Preferred
Preference for candidates based in NYC
Experience as the first or early BDR at a startup
AdTech or advertising industry understanding
Experience prospecting into data, analytics, or AI products or selling to GTM, Ops, or Data teams
Fluency with personalization frameworks, multi-channel outreach, or creative outbound tactics
Interest in shaping playbooks, testing hypotheses, and helping hire/mentor future BDRs
Excitement about contributing beyond traditional BDR work as we grow (GTM ops, enablement, content, events, etc.)
Familiarity with the digital marketing space
