Responsibilities
Payroll Processing & Audit Review: Review payroll data, time sheets, adjustments, and off-cycle requests while generating and validating payroll audit reports prior to processing
Resolution & Data Integrity: Analyze rejected transactions and interfaced data, correct errors, resubmit information, and verify entries from external sources to ensure payroll accuracy
Systems & Applications: Provide day-to-day support for Kronos Workforce Management, including troubleshooting, reporting guidance, end-user assistance, and escalation when needed
Compliance, Reporting & Support: Prepare audit reports to identify discrepancies, support federal, state, and FICA compliance, respond to manager and HR inquiries, and handle sensitive payroll matters with discretion
Qualification
Required
High school diploma required
2+ years of payroll or accounting experience within a high-volume environment, including hands-on experience with an automated payroll system
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and payroll/time and attendance systems
Working knowledge of payroll calculations, payroll tax regulations, DOL standards, and federal and state compliance requirements
Detail-oriented, analytical professional with strong communication skills
Ability to multitask across systems
Discretion to handle sensitive information
Preferred
American Payroll Association FPC certification
Kronos experience strongly preferred
