Clinical Research Assistant (Part Time)
Care New England is a health system comprised of trusted organizations that focus on medical research and innovative health services. They are seeking a Clinical Research Assistant I to support research projects by collecting data, recruiting subjects, and assisting with IRB submissions and manuscript writing.

Responsibilities
Collects data by review of medical records, interviews, or other means
Performs coding, entry, and verification of data collected into both paper and electronic databases
As appropriate to the specified position, recruits subjects into research studies and conducts follow up interviews per study protocol
Assists in the processing and storage of biological specimens as needed, under supervision
Collects and reviews scientific articles. Enters references into a database
Prepares drafts of written documents relating to study procedures
Assists in preparation of IRB submissions
Assists in manuscript writing
Observes all general hospital policies, guiding principles, rules, and regulations, and consistently adheres to the Care New England service standards
Qualification
Required
Bachelor of Arts/Science Degree
Basic computer skills, e.g. familiarity with Microsoft software, completing spreadsheet/data entry
Ability to work with diverse populations and support an inclusive, culturally responsive environment
Preferred
Familiarity with REDCap or Qulatrics not essential but preferred
