Daylife and Programming Coordinator

The Daylife Programming Coordinator will support the Daylife Programming at 1 Hotel Hanalei Bay, focusing on guest satisfaction and operational tactics related to programming and events.

Responsibilities

Support the implementation of Daylife programming / guest experience strategies for the hotel and its outlets to create a cohesive and integrated marketing platform supporting hotel performance goals
Liaise with restaurant, spa, other departments and partners
Maintain vendor relationships and support projects including printing, graphic design, and digital displays
Buildout and management of Daylife offerings through website, RTR and app
Reconciliation of new RTR bookings with daily guest itineraries in KYC
Interdepartmental communication regarding programming changes
Manage guest communication related to programming events via KYC regarding including but not limited to:
Daily/weekly KYC communication to send recommendations/today’s activities highlighting daily availability
Coordination of cancelled programs, with recommendation for alternatives
Location changes (due to weather or other)
Reminders prior to start of activities
Posting charges for paid activities (i.e. beach rentals)
Schedule updating on RTR, Website, app and collateral
Manage inventory of collateral stock
Updating large chalkboards
Rally attendance – updates on today’s activities and where there is still availability
Coordination with programming managers/directors on attendance/feedback of activities
Daily/weekly report distribution from RTR to departments
Manage department expenses (vendors, supplies, etc)

Required

Passionate about organization and details with a minimum of 1 year of similar work experience
Prior experience in an administrative role, strong organization and technical skills, ability to multi-task and a team player
Is flexible and willing to meet the demands of a 24-hour operation
2+ years of experience in reservations or guest services, preferably in lifestyle or luxury hospitality
Passion for the mission and values of 1 Hotels, with general knowledge of sustainability issues
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Strong interpersonal skills and service/hospitality orientation
Team player willing to pitch in to support colleagues in all areas

Preferred

A post-secondary diploma or degree would be a plus
