Administrative Assistant (Temporary Position)
Skirball Cultural Center is seeking a Temporary Part-Time Administrative Assistant to support their Operations and Accounting teams. This role involves providing essential administrative and clerical support to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.

Responsibilities
Perform general administrative tasks, including filing, data entry, and document management
Create, maintain, and update department files
Respond to internal and external inquiries promptly and professionally
Responsible for invoice processing, purchase orders, expense tracking, and timely reconciliations and coordination with accounting for corrections
Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with company policies
Prepare reports and assist with special projects as assigned
Assist with the receipt and distribution of incoming and outgoing mail and packages
Maintain office supplies inventory; assist with the coordination of maintenance, repair, and/or replacement of office equipment
Attend staff meetings, take detailed notes, and prepare and distribute meeting minutes
Plan, organize, and coordinate department meetings, events, and training sessions
Assist with special events and minor projects as needed
Assist Accounting with various filing and administrative responsibilities
Coordinate travel arrangements for staff
Qualification
Required
1–2 years in an administrative support role
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Teams, Word, Excel, Outlook)
Strong organizational and time-management skills
Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
Ability to handle confidential information with integrity
Detail-oriented, dependable, adaptable, and proactive problem solver
