Senior Manager, Global Casting (Los Angeles)

Responsibilities
Oversee both Global and North America casting
Drive execution of our global casting strategy across studio digital and ecomm, social and campaign work
Own how our Casting ID is put into practice: briefing scouts and agencies, curating the priority roster, and turning briefs into booked talent
Build reliable rhythms with Sports Marketing, Creative Ops and Studio Ops to align ambassadors, availability and production logistics
Hire, coach and hold the casting team to high standards, run the scouting and conversion pipeline, manage external partners and budgets, and measure roster and campaign performance so casting decisions clearly link to creative outcomes and business goals
Build trustworthy, repeatable rhythms with Sports Marketing so ambassador availability, activations and performance feed directly into casting decisions
Partner with Brand Marketing and Brand Creative to translate briefs into precise casting criteria that balance creative intent with commercial priorities
Collaborate with Creative Ops and Studio Ops on production logistics and scheduling to prevent last-minute availability or paperwork surprises
Own agency and external casting director relationships: brief, hire, calibrate and hold partners to our Casting ID and delivery standards
Negotiate fees and usage with clear ROI thinking
Define and socialise the Casting ID, making it actionable across PDP, social and campaign creative
Translate business and marketing imperatives into casting strategies that keep the brand fresh and competitive across run, train, yoga, studio, golf, tennis and sport lifestyle
Source and program pro talent and influential creators who embody our brand pillars: honest, fun, bold
Maintain a prioritized roster and design first-right-of-refusal practices for priority talent
Use audience and performance data to inform talent choices: profile influencers by reach and engagement, and test new talent through trial bookings to validate creative and commercial lift
Enhance and improve the growth of the global casting team and streamline the outputs of NAM as part of the team and consistency across the other regional casting efforts
Own the scouting and conversion pipeline: virtual callbacks, targeted scouting, creator trials and conversion plans for contract talent
Maintain a clean roster database and dashboards tracking availability, usage history, audience metrics and cost per booking
Work with our Ops Casting Coordinator to manage contracts, POs and usage-right paperwork
Define clear hand-off timelines and standards so bookings, releases and invoicing are completed on time and without friction
Manage casting budgets, negotiate buyouts and license agreements, and keep spend predictable and tied to creative outcomes
Assume a pivotal role as the key casting decision-maker for both internal and external productions, as well as creative agencies involved in all Global projects
Ensure that casting decisions align with the brand's global objectives and standards
Hire, mentor and set development plans for direct reports
Lead regular talent slate reviews and coaching sessions; surface gaps and champion solutions before they escalate
Create a culture of ownership and curiosity where the team proactively scouts, tests and refines talent choices in service of creative briefs and business goals
Lead, mentor, and develop the global and regional casting team, raising executional quality, speed, and consistency
Qualification
Required
BA, BFA Arts/Fine Arts. Agency, corporate or freelance experience
10+ years of talent casting experience across photo, video and social content, including working with pro athletic talent and influential creators in sport and lifestyle spaces
Proven track record working with talent agencies, casting directors and management companies; ability to brief and manage external partners to creative standards
Strong commercial instincts and hands-on experience with contracts, licensing, buyouts and negotiation strategy
Deep understanding of production workflows and how casting integrates into creative timelines, fittings and PDP needs
Experience leading small teams with a focus on rapid execution, taste calibration and development plans
Excellent cross-functional stakeholder skills; proven ability to translate creative requirements into operational plans and get buy-in
Authorization to work in the United States is required for this role
