Responsibilities
Perform technical assessments and economic evaluations of generation systems to inform long-range planning and decision-making
Apply advanced engineering principles to support the design and optimization of generation infrastructure projects
Provide guidance and oversight on engineering tasks, supporting project execution from concept through implementation
Analyze operational and performance data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for system improvement
Partner with internal stakeholders, including planning, operations, and finance, to align engineering outputs with business goals
Offer technical support and direction to junior engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and innovation
Take ownership of engineering interpretations and recommendations, making informed decisions that support organizational strategy
Qualification
Required
Advanced engineering and analytical expertise in generation systems
Experience in scoping outages and responding to emergent plant needs regarding Steam Turbines and supporting systems
Ability to perform technical assessments and economic evaluations of generation systems
Application of advanced engineering principles to support the design and optimization of generation infrastructure projects
Guidance and oversight on engineering tasks, supporting project execution from concept through implementation
Analysis of operational and performance data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for system improvement
Collaboration with internal stakeholders to align engineering outputs with business goals
Technical support and direction to junior engineers
Ownership of engineering interpretations and recommendations

Enjoyment of problem-solving at scale and working with technical data, economic modeling, or system simulations
Ability to translate complex engineering concepts into business-friendly language and visual presentations
