Responsibilities
Work with a variety of clients in need of mental health services to aid in stabilizing the client and improving their well-being
Participate in interagency meetings to ensure care coordination
Qualification
Required
Any combination of experience and training that would likely provide the required knowledge and abilities is qualifying
Students enrolled in a Master's degree program in psychology, social work, marriage and family counseling, or a related field
Non-licensed Ph.D. or PsyD. students who are entering a field practicum qualify
Students must be enrolled in an accredited college or university
Possession of, or ability to obtain, an appropriate, valid California driver's license
Required practicum experience in a Master's program
A Master's degree in psychology, social work, marriage and family counseling, or a related field from an accredited college or university, which provides the educational basis for licensing to provide psychotherapy in the State of California
Possession of or applied for registration as a Marriage and Family Therapist Intern or an Associate of Clinical Social Work with the Board of Behavioral Sciences
Two (2) years of post-graduate of increasingly responsible related experience
Current registration as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist or Licensed Clinical Social Worker with the California Board of Behavioral Science
Two (2) years of substantial, active-practice, professional experience working in mental health counseling, psychotherapy, and related social services in a public or certified private welfare or health agency at the level equivalent to a Therapist II with Colusa County
Possession of a valid California license as a Clinical Social Worker, Marriage, Family and Child Counselor or Clinical Psychologist and have at least two years of full-time experience as a licensed Practitioner of the Healing Arts; and meet the minimum qualifications by the Board of Behavioral Sciences to supervise Associate Clinical Social Workers and Marriage and Family Therapist Interns
