Sr. Director of Human Resources - Full-Time

The Senior Director of Human Resources will support skilled nursing and assisted living centers in delivering exceptional patient care through a strong, engaged workforce, while collaborating with leaders to align people strategies with organizational goals.

Responsibilities

Collaborates closely with clinical and operational leaders to align people strategies with organizational goals
Enhances employee engagement and drives workforce effectiveness
Provides expert guidance on employee relations, performance management, talent development, and workforce planning
Ensures compliance with all applicable employment laws and regulations
Supports talent acquisition and retention initiatives
Fosters a positive workplace culture and leads HR compliance and process improvement efforts
Contributes to the development and continuous improvement of internal policies and procedures
Serves as a mentor and resource for Directors of Human Resources across the organization

Required

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field strongly preferred. Equivalent experience will be considered
Minimum of 7 years of progressive HR leadership experience, including multi-site or regional oversight
Proven success in developing and implementing HR strategies that drive employee engagement and organizational performance
Deep knowledge of federal and state employment laws and HR compliance requirements
Demonstrated ability to build relationships and influence at all levels of an organization
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
Excellent communication, coaching, and presentation skills
Ability to lead and mentor HR professionals across multiple locations
Commitment to fostering a positive, mission-driven culture aligned with organizational value
Must have valid driver's license
Ability to travel to assigned facilities as needed

Preferred

Master's degree or advanced HR certification (e.g., SPHR, SHRM-SCP) preferred
Prior experience in healthcare, senior living, or a similarly regulated industry preferred but not required
