Responsibilities
Develop and grow talent through hiring, mentoring, and coaching engineers
Manage a team of software engineers and own our core components and services
Drive technical projects and provide technical leadership to inspire the team to innovate
Collaborate across Google cloud platform (GCP) with product managers, program managers, site reliability engineering (SRE) and SWE managers to drive a common goal
Be a net culture add within a vibrant team of engineers
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree, or equivalent practical experience
8 years of experience in software development
3 years of experience in a technical leadership role
2 years of experience in a people management or team leadership role
Experience in building cloud services, and working with a distributed team, and managing teams
Preferred
Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or related technical field
3 years of experience working in a structured organization
