SAIC has an opening for a Video Teleconferencing (VTC) Technician in support of the USSOCOM SITEC 3 Enterprise Operations and Maintenance contract. The role involves providing IT services and support to Special Operations Forces, including managing VTC equipment and scheduling sessions.

Responsibilities

Installs, configures, manages, maintains, operates, and defends common area VTC equipment, including day-to-day setup, scheduling, and monitoring
Schedules, coordinates, and administers multiple simultaneous VTC sessions
Provides dedicated support to VTCs attended by VIPs
Recommends VTC systems upgrades
Provides version control and provisioning via a Telepresence Management Suite (TMS) for VTC CODECs
Installs flat panel displays, room based VTC endpoints, projectors, and A/V equipment
Resolves issues down to the equipment level (black box)
Manages, maintains, and posts a daily MSL and shift change procedures
Schedules, configures, and connects users to DISA GVS and DVS conferences
Trains designated personnel on the operation of VTC equipment

Required

AA & 3+ years of experience; OR High School Diploma & 5+ years of experience
Must currently hold an active Top Secret Clearance with Top Secret/SCI Clearance eligibility
Current CompTIA Security+ Certification
Thorough knowledge of VTC hardware, software and network connections
Expertise in scheduling VTC sessions in VTC bridges
Hands-on experience with debugging the interoperation of VTC bridges and end points

Preferred

Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Must be self-motivated, creative, willing to work as a member of a team, organized and able to manage individual schedules
Must be flexible and willing to work in a rapidly changing environment
