Responsibilities

Use operations research, statistical methods, mathematical models and tools to understand, predict and improve inventory processes
Contribute the building and deployment of durable processes and models
Participate/lead discussions with representatives to adapt the planning system to accommodate business unit needs
Articulate the cost and service impacts of strategic initiatives/projects to get buy-in
Apply knowledge and business judgment to identify opportunities and quantify impact
Present clear and concise results
Own the end-to-end delivery process that encompasses research, design, testing, scaling, and implementation of projects
Build predictive models such as the promotions impact on demand
Leverage time series features to find targeted improvements to forecast distribution accuracy, run an A/B test with peer-control groups to compare inventory policy changes, measure and predict supply chain variation to ensure high service levels

Required

Bachelor's Degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Operations Research, Industrial Engineering, Business Analytics or a related quantitative field required
3+ years work experience in related field
Experience with analytics tools (e.g. R, Python, SQL) and data visualization software (e.g. Tableau, PowerBI)
Experience articulating ambiguous business questions and using quantitative modeling techniques to arrive at a solution
Experience processing, filtering, validating, and presenting large quantities of data (Millions to Billions of rows)

Preferred

Experience supply chain and inventory planning, forecasting and optimization knowledge preferred
